How NIZO Transmove handles the details and photos you share via this website.

Which data do we process?
When you fill in the quote form, we process the details you enter yourself: your name, phone number, email address, company name if applicable, the addresses and information about the job, your preferred date and the photos or documents you upload. Please note: photos of your home or belongings may also contain personal information. Only share what is needed for the quote.
To prevent abuse and spam, your IP address is used temporarily and in encrypted (hashed) form to limit the number of requests per hour.
What do we use your data for?
- To assess your request and contact you;
- to prepare a quote and, if you accept it, carry out the job;
- to protect the website against abuse.
The legal basis is taking steps at your request prior to entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in a secure website.
Who has access to your data?
Your data is never sold. We only use service providers needed to make the website and the form work, such as the hosting provider (storage of the request and files) and the email service used to send your request to NIZO Transmove. Agreements are made with these parties about protecting your data.
If you enter a Dutch postcode and house number in the form, only those two details are sent to the government's public address service (PDOK, Kadaster) to fill in the street and town automatically. Your name and other details are not shared.
If you contact us via WhatsApp, that conversation takes place through WhatsApp (Meta), and WhatsApp's privacy policy also applies.
How long do we keep your data?
We keep your request and files for as long as necessary to handle your request. If your request does not lead to a job, we delete the data no later than one year after your request. If it does lead to a job, we keep the data we are legally required to keep, such as for accounting purposes, for as long as the law requires.
Cookies and statistics
This website does not place tracking or advertising cookies. No statistics services are used.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct or delete your data, and to object to its use. Please contact us for this. If you are not satisfied with how we handle your data, you can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
Security
The website uses a secure connection (HTTPS). Files you upload are stored in a protected environment and are only accessible to NIZO Transmove via secure links.
